The White Pube
Gabrielle de la Puente (from the The White Pube) is discussing their book Poor Artists, largely written at SIRIUS during a residency in 2022, and following regular interactions with SIRIUS director Miguel Amado, in Ireland and elsewhere. The White Pube is the collaborative identity of critics Zarina Muhammad and Gabrielle de la Puente. Poor Artists follows aspiring artist Quest Talukdar through childhood obsessions, art school lessons and her professional debut, learning about the connections between money and power and debating whether she cares more about success or staying true to herself.
