SIRIUS Lab
SIRIUS Lab is a series of online one-hour workshops for children aged 6 to 12, conceived and delivered by SIRIUS Learning Curatorial Fellow Lucia Taeubler. In each session, under her expert guidance, participants use basic materials and other sustainable elements – from household items to recyclables – and explore exciting methods to engage with a variety of themes and feelings. They experiment with line, tone, texture, shape, colour, pattern, form and space; practice engineering techniques and observational skills; and venture into animation. SIRIUS Lab is an opportunity to consider big ideas, make art and have an enjoyable time with other budding creative minds.
Sessions take place Saturdays, 14.00 – 15.00, via Zoom. Each session is limited to 12 participants. Materials are not provided. Cost: €5 per session (non-refundable).
