Future Coasts: Climate Change Adaptation and Coastal Communities: an Introduction to Eco-engineering. In association with the Sustainable Futures Project at Sirius Arts Centre.

This short workshop will be delivered by the MaREI Centre and UCD for Sirius Arts Centre, and will look at coastal communities and climate adaptation along with an introduction to Eco-engineering. Participants will learn about the importance of adaptation to climate change for coastal communities and how adjusting the design of coastal structures can enhance biodiversity through the example of the ECOSTRUCTURE project. Participants are invited to provide input and feedback towards the development of ECOSTRUCTURES citizen science platform.
