Would you like to know how to fix your own stuff?
Bring along your broken stuff to get advice or mend it together with a local expert for free. Our volunteer experts will help you to repair small electrical and household items, clothes, toys, homewares, bicycles, small furniture and wooden items, advice on computer and smart phone devices, plus more....
What is a Repair Café?
A Repair Café brings people together in a sociable cafe-style setting to share and
learn the practical know-how to repair stuff, making our communities more
sustainable.

Residency – Colette Lewis and Cobh Zero Waste, supported by VOICE Ireland.
LOCAL KNOW-HOW is a Creative Enquiry Artist Residency with artist Colette Lewis, interested in ‘re-learning’ the local traditional skills and knowledge to make, repair, reuse, forage, hunt or grow from older generations living in the Cobh and Great Island area.
Creative Enquiry - Arts and Older People is financially supported by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaion Invitation to Collaboration scheme, Cork City Council, Cork County Council, and the HSE Cork Kerry Community Healthcare - Cork South Community Work Department, with in kind support from Age & Opportunity, and each host arts organisation:Sirius Arts Centre, Cork Midsummer Festival and Music Alive.
