Sagarmatha, also known as 'Mount Everest'.

In 2014 Harry and Kathy spent some time walking in the Himalayas. 'Sagarmatha' fuses their separate experiences into an immersive multimedia performance celebrating the dangerous beauty of the highest place in the world, its people and its sometimes unprepared visitors . . .

Harry Moore has always explored different situations, work places and processes, enjoying solo and collaborative projects. His main areas of occupation and interest have included theatre, boat building, photography, music & sound performances and composition.
Currently he is working predominately in sound and photography.
The practice of pinhole photography and sound equally share the 3 dimensional exploration of space, and their relationship and the 4^th element of time. Moore is fascinated by the resonances that events can leave in environments.

Kathy D'Arcy is a Cork poet with two collections, Encounter (2010) and The Wild Pupil (2012). She teaches on UCC's Women's Studies and Creative Writing programmes, and originally qualified as a doctor.

In 2013 she was awarded an Arts Council Literature Bursary to develop experimental long-form poems, and in 2014 she began an Irish Research Council funded Creative Writing PhD to continue this work. Her PhD explores new ways to generate and perform long poems, and Sagarmatha is part of a sequence of collaborative experimental performances generated by this research.
